Is That A Phone In Your Pocket, Or Are You Just Glad To Read Me?

As mentioned a few days ago, I've added a new RSS feed for subscribers who want to read the blog on mobile phones. The feed is text only for now, but should work well with most phones.

I've been doing a lot of research on this and will have a detailed report about the best options for bloggers who want to make their sites more accessible to phones. This is going to be huge! I mean, think about it: the statistics vary, but, basically there are way more web enabled phones in the world than there are computers at this point. I got started thinking about it when I read an article that stated:

"Adult" material constituted 20 per cent of the searches on cellphones, but only 5 per cent on PDAs. Just 8.5 per cent of searches on desktop computers are for adult material.

I probably won't post the report until I feel like I've really got all the info I can find on the leading options for phone optimization. I'm building a table that will compare the options and features, etc, for each service out there. I think this is an opportunity to really discover new ground. This will especially be a great opportunity for phone sex workers who blog. I'm still looking for a free service that allows bloggers to include images when they convert their feeds. If you're a sex blogger and you want to maximize your readership you should watch this space. Give me about a week or two to whip it into shape…
