I Should be Spanked with the Monster Mechanic

 

I've been really bad about posting lately, and I'm afraid it will get a little worse before it gets better. It will get better, but it's gonna take some time. Someone should probably give me a serious beating with one of the Monster Mechanic floggers!

I'm spending a lot of my time getting the new TypePad Hacks blog off the ground. The posts there are taxing my brain to the limit (in a good way) and I haven't had a lot of energy left over at the end of the day. I'm geeked that I've been getting a lot of feedback from the folks at Six Apart and TypePad and they seem to really dig what I've been doing over there. This could get really interesting in a lot of different ways.

I'm also looking at a flood of orders for art that's gonna keep me in the studio for a bit. Spring is here, and that means firebowls! I've got orders in from NYC, Topeka, Redmond and Myrtle Beach and that's just this week.

This is all really good news, but it's put a serious crimp in my time for posting to Burning Rubber lately. I just want you to know I haven't forgotten you, and I'll be posting as much as I can. For now, I must catch up on that thing I haven't had in so long I can't remember what you call it…

Oh yeah, sleep. Sabrina says it's good for me.
