My Birthday Present to Me (and You)
BadAss Paddles' first professional photo shoot is scheduled for next Sunday. We'll be shooting better product photos, so you can see how beautiful these look when they're properly lit and handled by a pro. The next best thing to holding one in you hand…
Next Sunday also happens to be my birthday, so the photographer has lined up at least two beautiful models and maybe a few drop-ins as well. Usually, spanking at birthdays is something that happens to you, rather than something you get to kick back and watch. I probably won't get out unscathed now that I've spilled the beans. I'll have the photos online here early next week and you'll be able to see what the paddles do, which is probably even more important than how they look.
In the meantime, while we wait for new pictures, here's an interesting pic I found while searching google images to see if they'd found my paddles yet:
These are antique baloon paddles made from polished ebony. They were dipped into a mix of liquid rubber and then hung to dry, but I bet we can all think of other uses for them. They're available at Art & Junk, an online antique store for prices between $150-$350 USD. The seller claims that "balloon molds are so hard to obtain that calling them once-in-a-decade finds would be a 500% understatement."
